I admit I don’t feel confident (look-wise) during my pregnancy. I used to know what type of clothing looks good on me but once I got pregnant, I had no idea. Maternity clothes in general looks frumpy and old-fashioned to me, so I kept on wearing non-maternity clothes that are slightly bigger which could accommodate my growing waistline. Let’s just say sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

So when an invitation arrived for a beauty and fashion workshop called Dream Mama, organized by Dream Factory by Ines Ligron, I jumped at the opportunity to learn from the best. Google Ines Ligron and you’d know what I mean. Besides her impressive resume, Ines is also mom to 3 boys!

Dream Mama is all about embracing motherhood – while looking and feeling our best. The monthly workshop focuses on styling to keep moms looking fashionable and sophisticated – even throughout pregnancy.

And here are some transformation photos. It is all about picking the right pieces for our body type, and don’t be afraid to try something out of your ordinary style.

I normally wouldn’t pick this top but I’m surprised to find that it looks pretty good! (If I was to say so myself :) It is also heaps comfy.

After the styling session, there was a health and nutrition sharing session where we talked about everything from supplements, immunization, detox trips, to how to feed vegetables to your kids.

Ines’ assistant, Miss Japan Universe 2008 Hiroko Mima gave us some nutritional pointers too.
