One of the reasons I started this blog is to document my kids milestones. This month, both my daughters are entering another leap in age and seem to have grown overnight. Lauren turned 2 years earlier this month while Georgia is no longer a newborn as of today. She is 3 months old and officially a baby now.

LAUREN AT 2 YEARS OLD

Lauren knows all 26 alphabets, colours, shapes and able to count up to 15. In case anyone is keeping score at home, she started at 1 year 10 months. I’d love to say I play a part in teaching her, but I really didn’t. I credit it all to the YouTube videos she’s been watching. But that is not stopping me from bragging about it.

Lauren’s favourite words lately are Hipe Pipe (Hi5), Brae brae (she still asks for breasts), I DON’T LIKE (pronounced perfectly).

Hobbies: Building blocks, singing and jumping, watching YouTube and most recently – dragging a blanket walking around the house while singing, “Let it go, let it go” out of tune repeatedly.

GEORGIA AT 3 MONTHS OLD

Georgia can push herself up during tummy time for like 1.5 seconds. I can’t be prouder.

At night when she is hungry and if I don’t get to her fast enough, she has a cry that sounds like cats fighting outside the window.

She has started sucking on her own fingers to calm herself back to sleep. Most times, she can’t get it into her mouth and ends up sucking her knuckles instead. But hey, it still works. She falls back asleep without any help from us. Another proud moment. What can I say, I’m easily pleased.
