Review & Giveaway! Hello Kitty HIYA PURE Baby Skin Care Range

ADVERTORIAL, KIDS | 25 comments

As a mom, sometimes I might get overly cautious when it comes to my children. So when my little Georgia started having reddened and dried skin, I quickly turned into an expert of sorts, searching for the best, safest and gentlest skin care solution for her and her sister, Lauren.

I am a firm believer in research – I’d never bought a product, if I haven’t gone through the company’s website and read at least a couple of reviews online. So, I wanted to share my newest discovery with other moms who feel the same way as I do. Currently, the girls are using Hello Kitty HIYA Pure range, designed specifically for newborn and young children.

HIYA Pure – developed by HIYA Pharmaceutical to moisturize and protect baby’s sensitive skin and strengthen it against external irritants. A recent study in Japan suggests that moisturizing helps reduce the risk of developing eczema in later life.

HIYA Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd is a well-established, trusted healthcare brand in Japan. Most importantly, it has over 390 years of experience, having founded in the year of 1622 in Osaka, Japan. With its cutesy Hello Kitty packaging which made Lauren squealed with delight, I can see why it is one of the most popular baby skin care brand in Japan.

This is how much she loves the Hello Kitty HIYA Pure Bubble Soap Refill
Let me start this review with HIYA Pure Bubble Soap. It can be used from head to toe. The ingredients are as natural and safe as you could possibly get. It is based on peach leaf extract, natural glycerin and hyaluronic acid, all of which are quality ingredients that are gentle to babies’ skin. It is non-soapy, doesn’t irritate the eyes which is very important for little children, smells nice without having any added fragrances and also helped me alleviate Georgia’s dry and itchy skin.
All children love bubbles and my girls are no exception. They love the bubble texture that comes out of the pump. Lauren who usually resists having a bath, can now be coaxed into having one. All I have to say is, “Lets bathe with Hello Kitty bubbles!”.

After their bath, I apply the HIYA PURE Body Milk Lotion to moisturise their skin. It is based on the same formulation. With added hydrolyzed silk protein, which makes it incredibly soft and gentle to my children’s skin. All of HIYA products are moisturizing, which is especially important for me. The milk lotion does an excellent job to repair red or cracked skin, without causing any further irritation. Again, I use it for both my girls and so far, we’ve been nothing but tremendously satisfied.

It absorbs very quickly into their skin upon application. It has a very pleasant ‘baby’ smell that I absolutely love. I can’t stop smelling my girls.

I also used the HIYA Pure Facial Cream on my little one. For me, it’s important to keep my babies’ skin hydrated and protected from external irritants – infants’ skin is especially sensitive, so proper care is essential. The facial cream is based on the same natural formula and is incredibly gentle to their skin. I’d started using it on Georgia to prevent any skin irritations and itchiness and her face is softer than ever!

Finally, I might sound overly excited about this one, but the HIYA Pure Barrier Cream seems like a dream come true. I’ve noticed little redness on Georgia’s bum recently, so I decided to give the barrier cream a try. It is specifically designed for the sensitive baby skin and works perfectly for alleviating and treating nappy rashes, which I know lots of children get.

I’ve been applying the barrier cream on Georgia after every diaper change. It takes seconds to absorb into Georgia’s skin and doesn’t have that thick and oily residue which some other nappy rash cream tends to have. So far, we haven’t had any issue – the redness has also completely gone away. Its formulation is based on entirely natural ingredients – the cherry and peach leaf extracts are, in fact, widely used in the Japanese medicine to alleviate irritations.

I’ve so many friends suffering from eczema and skin problems that I dread the day I’ll have to see my little ones go through the same thing. However, so far, I’m over the moon with HIYA Pure baby range – we’ve got all of their products and I must say, I’m completely in love with the brand and I can readily recommend it to everyone!
