Carefree Holidays with Kids in Southeast Asia

KIDS, TRAVEL

Have you ever heard someone explain the difference between a vacation and a trip? Basically, a vacation is a time for rest and rejuvenation. A trip is a journey you take from one destination to another. So, when the time comes for your family to go on holiday, are you just going on a trip from one place to another?

I get it. As a mum, sometimes travelling for holidays can be way more stressful than fun. And, it is seldom relaxing. However, after coming home from our incredible stay at Amari Phuket, I am now convinced that not only are carefree holidays possible, they are necessary!

I started doing some research to see what else is else there because this mum is already planning our next holiday. And, I was pleasantly surprised by all the family-friendly holiday options I found in Southeast Asia!

These resorts all cater to families –  with entertaining kid’s programs that will give you a much-needed break. Plus, these resorts know what parents need, so they go out of their way to have baby supplies on hand and kid’s menus in restaurants. With this in mind, your family can head off on a carefree holiday – no stress allowed!

When I told friends I took my kids on a cruise, most people are shocked. It did not sound like a carefree holiday to them. But, they were wrong! Our family had an amazing, carefree holiday on Superstar Gemini! If you would rather not holiday at another resort and spa, I recommend a cruise. It was quite pleasant and carefree – all we had to do was choose what to do and what to eat!
