What the heck is Korean Combo Eyebrow embroidery, I hear you ask?

Can’t tell the difference? Ahh.. that’s why I’m dedicating a whole post on my recent Korean Combo Eyebrow Embroidery experience at Arch Angel Brow because always-assuming-Mich thinks you’d want to know.

I’m very happy with my new brow. I left it up to Arch Angel Brow founder, Kelly, to design the shape so it frames my face nicely. We also discussed the tint colour most suitable for my complexion. We opted for a soft black because my brow hair is very dark. All this while I’ve been using a dark brown brow pencil to fill in my brow, and apparently that’s not right. I had bi-coloured brows for years! (Enter cringe emoji x 100)

Using only 100% natural botanical pigments from Korea, Arch Angel Brow ensures that our brows will not take on those horrible reddish or bluish hues over time. It will fade to our brows’ original colour instead.

I like that there’s no downtime (the brow won’t turn dark for a week but it does lighten to a softer colour) and no aftercare required. You are free to wash your face as usual and continue with your regular beauty routine.

The whole process from eye brow design to walking out the door took slightly under two hours. Did it hurt? Usually it shouldn’t because numbing cream is applied before the actual ’embroidering’ takes place. However, yours truly’s body tend to metabolise anaesthesia quickly, so half way through the procedure, I could feel the stinging pain and Kelly had to reapply more numbing cream. Story of my life 🙁

With clearer skin from Discovery PICO, longer lashes, and now that my eyebrow is always done, I pretty much take 2 minutes to get ready. My husband, Nick used to be able to squeeze in a nap while I’m getting ready. No more naps for him! Haha.

Less time dolling up = more time for this fella too!
